Skin Anatomy - A 201 level class in the Anatomy for Kinksters Series

Our skin is the barrier between us and the world. So many kinds of edge play involve the breaking of skin: needles, cuttings, brands, rough body play, just to name a few. Come explore the physical and psychological implications of breaking this barrier. Through a slide show and demonstration, Sophia will share detailed information about the tissue and structures that comprise our skin. Learn how to work with or against skin's nature to further your scene or dynamic. How much do you want it to hurt? Do you want to have scars? The answers to these questions lie in understanding the skin's anatomy. Special attention will be given to the topics of scarring and wound care. This is a class for both bottoms and tops, of all genders and orientations.

There will be a hands on portion of the class where we will use palpation within the context of BDSM play so bring your supplies and toys. Consider attending with a practice partner. Those who come without a partner will have the opportunity to pair up with other attendees. As always, observation is a valid form of participation.

When: 7PM to 10PM
Cost: $30, $25 in advance.
(No other CSPC discounts or AYCE cards applicable.)
