Late Night Shell Station Run

Is a duo consisting of bassist/vocalist Evan Flory-Barnes and guitarist Jimmy James. This duo plays the music of Curtis Mayfield and stripped down versions of what Flory-Barnes calls Avant-Soul Pop. A mix of classic soul and experimental pop. With Jimmy James, the soul aspect of Flory-Barnes' are amplified by Jimmy's masterful  rhythm playing. As to the great Curtis Mayfield's music the duo aims to honor the essence of the great artist while making the songs their own. The name Late Night Shell Station Run, is a humorous nod to many late night hangs the two had after countless gigs, enjoying the deep fried goodness of the garlic wings and catfish at 15th Ave S Shell Station in Seattle's Beacon Hill.

EFB and The Esteemed Gentleman

A trio consisting of Evan Flory-Barnes- (bass, vocals) Matt Clough-guitar and Joey Ziegler-drums. EFB and The Esteemed Gentlemen is a reclaiming of Flory—Barnes musical roots, that of the bass, guitar and drums power trio. From The Police to Primus, Cream to Rush, the power trio has been an influence since Flory-Barnes began listening to and loving music as a kid. Matt Clough, is a singular guitarist, inventive, lyrical and creative. Equally adept at expressing the nuanced and subtle as well as the raw powerful. Joey Ziegler, plays the drums with a soulful precision,  a deep sense of groove and feel paired a sophistication that is equally playful and explorative. This trio takes Flory-Barnes' "Avant-Soul Pop" to new heights.

Zphrisms

Like Zephyr brings about the spring season with warm gusts of wind, zphrisms languidly crafts music without the restrictions of a specific genre. However, zphrisms' sound has clear influence from R&B, alternative rock, soul, and funk.
